One Another

by Merritt on April 17, 2012

I don’t know if you believe in Jesus, are a Christian or have ever read the Bible, but there is so much wisdom in the scriptures about how we are to live out our love for one another, especially in marriage. None of us will be perfect at doing any of these for our spouse, but as you read through the list below, consider how it would feel to be on the RECEIVING end of these commands…and then put yourself in your spouse’s shoes.

Currently Hebrews 10:24. I think that we as people in our attitudes of “stay out of other people’s business,” miss chances to encourage and lift up each other with loving acts or kind words.

Great point Tara! There are so many ways we can encourage others, especially as we see God-given gifts working in their lives.

Awesome! I have a friend who used many of these verses in a creative display on the back side of her wedding invitation. I ended up framing it!!

Spur one another on to love and good deeds Hebrews 10:24
This verse sums up so many things I should do and shouldn’t. It is an area I so often fail in. I am glad for God’s grace and patience with me.
